Evan believes that Eastern and Western medicine can complement each other when the best qualities of both are brought together. Working as a registered paramedic for Queensland Health for 10 years Evan has a passion and understanding for complex cases and uses his experience within the health care system to meet and guide a patient through their health care journey.

A Little Bit More

While training in Crossfit and power lifting I discovered acupuncture following a back injury which was only being compounded by the nature of my work. I found modern medicine could only offer me so much without going to extremes and was amazed by the results I found through Eastern Medicine.

While the two modalities of paramedic and acupuncturist might seem at odds with each other I found that for my own body and mental health, it was often about the right tool for the right job, and in acupuncture, I found what I feel is the perfect compliment before you need medication and surgery.
When not at work you can often find me rock climbing or spending time with my family.
